The Mask of Inanna - A nine episode audio drama, Winner of the 2012 Parsec Award, over an hour each. Written, produced and edited by Alicia E. Goranson and performed by the Post-Meridian Radio Players. Features the contemporary story of Leonard Allen, host of After Dark, the greatest independent horror show of the 1950's, and unwitting pawn to several mysterious organizations who desire his voice. Snatched from his nursing home, he now lives on the lighthouse by the cliff, broadcasting his old shows over pirate radio. Filled with demons, spirits and cults, every episode is a two-for-one treat, featuring both the contemporary story of Leonard Allen, with his alter ego Dr. Damien Crask, and a complete episode from his 1950's horror show After Dark.
Finalist for the Best Horror Audio Drama of 2010, as part of the 4th Annual Splatcademy Awards.

War of the Worlds: The Mob vs. The Martians and the Fall of Boston - October 29-31, 2009 - Somerville Theater
Neil Marsh and I co-wrote a revisioning of War of the Worlds in Boston, featuring mobsters from the North and South Ends. Based on the version played on Orson Welles' show, it features special guests including Somerville's own Tom Champion! I edited Act I and wrote Act II, and developed the "Mob vs. the Martians" concept.

The Cabal of Lady Windermere's Bottom - A tribute to the comedies of Oscar Wilde. Like Paris Hilton inventing the Masons, a clique of Victorian socialites create a Cabal to skirt free from the machinations of their Matriarch, only to uncover a horrid scandal about her.
The B'Arkies - A one-act, ten minute play. The fantasy lives of a young autistic man and a paranoid homeless woman come together and transform them in an Amélie-type tale. Performed as part of Ten Tiny Shows on September 19, 2009 at the Central Square YMCA, part of a set of ten ten-minute plays by local performance artists, produced by the Amazon Slam's own Ren Jender. ABOUT
Alicia E. Goranson is a local Boston author and playwright. The Post-Meridian Radio Players performed her plays annually at their Tomes of Terror Halloween shows from 2009-2010 and 2012. Her audio drama "The Mask of Inanna" won the 2012 Parsec Award for Best Speculative Fiction Audio Drama (Long Form). Her writing has appeared in the anthologies Pinned Down By Pronouns, Best Lesbian Erotica 2007 and in Other Magazine. Her novel Supervillainz is a 2006 Lambda Literary Award Finalist and the co-winner of the 2005 Project QueerLit award. It is available from Suspect Thoughts Press. She reads all across the country.
